How much does car detailing cost in Cape Town at The Car Bath?
The Executive Detail costs R1500, the same for cars, bakkies and SUVs. It includes everything in the Signature Valet, plus an exterior deep clean, clay bar treatment and polish, and engine bay detailing.
What is the difference between a valet and a detail?
A valet cleans the car, and a detail restores it. Our Signature Valet (R450) is a complete clean, with a full interior detail and an engine bay clean. Our Executive Detail (R1500) adds an exterior deep clean, clay bar treatment and polish.
Do bakkies and SUVs cost more?
No. Cars, bakkies and SUVs all pay the same price, for every service. Mobile and on-site bookings cost the same too. The exception is high-end cars: prices for high-end cars may go up after we inspect the car, because of the extra care they need. We’ll tell you the new price before we start.
What is the difference between mobile and on site?
Mobile means we come to your home or office at a time you book. On site means we are already at your business park or apartment block on its set day each week. The services and prices are the same, so choose whichever suits you.
Is it safe to have an expensive car washed by you?
Yes. We use pH-balanced soaps, soft microfibre cloths and gentle methods that help prevent scratches. We never leave your car unattended, every job ends with an inspection, and we carry public liability insurance.
Do you offer ceramic coating?
No, we do not offer ceramic coating at the moment. Our Executive Detail polish is for shine only and does not add paint protection.
